Where did that six months go?! It seems like yesterday!

The AIBA Congress in Moscow was a lot of fun. Whatever anyone thinks about AIBA running boxing, life with them is never without incident and the Congress in Moscow was no exception, and it was a privilege to share the stage with Executive Director Tom Virgets and some of the members of the Executive Committee.

Tweet from journalist from Inside the Games: "The look on the chap doing the roll call when turned up late to collect their voting machine was priceless. I think he may have been a schoolteacher in a previous life"

Beautiful day for a ride from Lady Village to the Loth Ferry Port, Sanday

Some images from my ride from Lady Village to Loth Ferry Terminal and back this morning (not in order)

The wild flowers are out in great numbers

Sinclair General Store. One of two great general stores that keep Sanday supplied. If they haven't got it they'll get it for you. Click here for more information.

Sanday Airport. No two-hour check-in here, just cycle up and climb aboard the eight-seater twin-engine Britten Norman Islander. Like a Ford Transit minibus with wings.
